Warning!! Do Not Update/Upgrade Your Android While Rooted

It has come to our notice again that many folks out there are getting their rooted android devices bricked after receiving updates to their devices and when they respond by updating/upgrading.

We were particularly moved to put up this warning notice to alert all of you after one of our ardent reader in the person of Abullahi Rufai kindly requested that this article of warning go live in order to protect unsuspecting droiders, so as not to make similar mistake that got his android soft-bricked and having him dip hand inside his pocket to get his droid back in normal working condition.

In other words, what we are saying in essence is that to all android users out there, as a matter of precaution and to safeguard your device, if your droid is rooted and you receive updates over the air to update/upgrade or you want to update/upgrade it manually, it is highly advisable that you first of all unroot your android before going ahead with the update/upgrade, after which you can then re-root again.

Though these complaints of bricking after rooting and updating have been reported in many cases on particular device, the Infinix Hot Note but it is still on the interest of others droiders to take note as your android device could also be soft-bricked when you engage in what was mentioned above.
